History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Zedaar will drive conversation. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He got into the Merchant business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Pallabar isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Gifted from a young age, Pallabar studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She keeps her red hair in a flapper bob. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and to be a cartwright again

She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she is content
