Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was born in a small mountains village. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Senteq hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Senteq alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: Bernard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.
History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She wears her blonde hair down. She has a tattooed face.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oriel embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Oriel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Many goblins want her driven away.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Flame embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is her passion; and she is greedy
