After coming to the age of reason, Akta took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Actor responsibilities is difficult; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Roofer but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Ilanis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Roofer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Roofer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's also a talented Junk Dealer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born in the east to a Merchant, Nalaed learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her first spouse was a Miner, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and her religion dominates her actions
