Personality: Shifting is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Shifting was born with her mother's beautiful face. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the west were limited. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving The war was a terrible time for her, and Fallthra does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Fallthra was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
