History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Ghesh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. After coming to the age of reason, Cairn took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and he is greedy

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he's repulsed by the pc

Personality: She is a Gardener first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is content
