She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Merla grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Crown-heir. She tends to her Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: She got into the Servant business at a young age. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Servant for hire.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While she appears to be a normal Half-Orc, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Myev and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Courier again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the north to a Barber, Arumawann learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair is cut close to his head. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Anakis was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Anakis's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
