Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Synthrin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Synthrin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up work as a Shepherd and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has never given up on her painting dream.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He now mingles about in high society.

His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gold eyes.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Vassago never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Arannis isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. Arannis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the east to a Map Maker, Arannis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He now owns his own business.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.
