History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Azza was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

History: She was born in a small plains village. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She got money to start a business from the gang present in town. She is greatly indebted to them.

History: He was born in the west. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
