History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Nirgel abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is greedy

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears grey painted combat armor at almost all times, and is pretty ugly. She wears her chestnut hair down. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gurdis grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tiefling in existence. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the north. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and someone believes him a fraud

She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Andry was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Andry was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.
