History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Shanairla took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up crossbow and armor she uses now. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
