Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bucklal embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She's also a talented Apothecary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Elama was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Namfoodle's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is an amazing painter.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

She has achieved small success as a Butcher.

History: Don was born with his father's beautiful face. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
