History: She got into the Carpenter business at a young age. She found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a monstrous two handed axe on his belt. He is portly but not overly obese. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Gardener but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.
History: He was born in a small island village. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerald grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerald. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was born in the east. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is her passion

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His blue hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his white eyes.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Thamuz lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Mayor kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His golden hair is long and unkept. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Faran was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Faran's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Faran fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
