He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Weaver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barkeep, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Purah was born on a far eastern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Banker. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Skak enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He has never given up on his painting dream.
