History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in the west to a Map Maker, Gomory learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Map Maker for the past few years.

This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Xanaphia's homeland. Xanaphia decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She tends to her Banker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She now mingles about in high society.
