She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Tailor mother left him crippled. He's also a talented Tailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Balam wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Brewer, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Brewer and was forced into it by her family; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. Chaedi is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Chaedi was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Crown-heir. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bricklayer who has hired her part-time. She takes great joy in being the best Bricklayer in town.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has worked as a Bricklayer like her mother before her.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Barkeep but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He got into the Barkeep business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Norman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
