Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jade fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dara grew up listening to her mother's many stories. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Emerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the south were limited. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and to clean up the streets

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born in the north to a Junk Dealer, Hillanot learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her druidic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
