Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for him, and Moon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Moon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Moon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting goblins, the young Pearl began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Pearl was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.
