History: Born in the west to a Bowyer, Arara learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Donella embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Donella was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Abalaba's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has worked as a Bookbinder like her mother before her.

Personality: She hates goblins. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and seeks redemption
