Personality: He is a Herbalist first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born in the west to a Herbalist, Theriatis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He tends to his Herbalist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he wants to get laid

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Korfel is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: This man stands a little under 5'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears an entirely black suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His silver hair is greasy and uncared for. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

Description: This tall, slender woman wears dull yellow sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed trident, just in case. Her hair is brown and curly. Her brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: This woman loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears suspenders and tan workpants. Her shirt is grey, and she wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time, and is pretty ugly. Her golden hair is lengthy. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mardnab embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His childhood dream was to be a Animal Trainer, but he was a colossal failure. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he is unsatisfied with his job
