After coming to the age of reason, Umpen took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Mason arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Beloril grew up listening to his father's many stories. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Varis was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Banker. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Bucklal was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. A freak accident while working with his Merchant mother left him crippled. He has achieved small success as a Banker.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Cartwright but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
