History: Balifra was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hogar studied abroad. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Gesrethe abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When Rosalind reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by her family; and she wants revenge against illithids

History: He was born in the south. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Justin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns.
