History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Serpent was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Barrister work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barrister work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She tends to her Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
