Description: A middle-aged man, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and is pretty ugly. His long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Ronobe enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the south to a Doctor, Ronobe learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Doctor.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new doctor responsibilities is difficult

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a fancy tan suit. His long red hair reaches down to his waist. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, she is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are green.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She was born in the north. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

History: He got into the Spy business at a young age. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Herbalist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Herbalist work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her hair is red and curly. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emma fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born in the south. Her childhood dream was to be a Locksmith, but she was a colossal failure. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To be a Locksmith again.
