History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a kukri on her belt. Her feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and many goblins want her driven away

Her silver eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Butcher.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He bought a warhammer and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people; and half-elven compassion
