History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Roger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Creega abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Beatrice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Her black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Torgga was raised in a hard working conservative environment. One day when Torgga was young, her father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her father dropped to the ground dead. Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Torgga was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mason for the past few years.

History: Born in the east to a Weaver, Urshar learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and a rival would like her out of the picture
