Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Morana is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: Morana lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Morana was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. When Traulam reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Rolf took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scythe and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Rolf was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

He carries with him a set of monstrous two handed axes, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Rurik hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Rurik alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.
History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and to reunite with her absent father
