History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Korfel was born with his father's beautiful face. Through the years after Korfel was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Merchant. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Beggar born in the past three hundred years. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
