History: Born in the north to a Map Maker, Cairn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: Ulla was born with her mother's beautiful face. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
