History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Breena is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His first spouse was a Merchant, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bowyer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to unite with his brother

History: She comes from a rich western family. A freak accident while working with her Ruler father left her crippled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: This late middle aged woman wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination and is in decent physical shape. She has slicked back white hair. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. In her youth she was a Slave Trader, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a deep hatred of orcs

Personality: Elysande speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Elysande lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She has never given up on her painting dream.
