History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Alain was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He tends to his Butcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. A true patriot, Ulfgar would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ulfgar studied abroad. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: Curran is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Curran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Curran was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mercenary. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
