History: Tana was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Havilar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Havilar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
