Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears just a black suit. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he's in love

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He carries a battered mace and tarnished pickaxe as well. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Grûblik fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Helja was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost.
