Description: An older woman who wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her whip with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt, she is not a threatening figure. She has done her best to style her black hair to look like a famous performer. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Verna is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Verna was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She got into the Gardener business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
