History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Painter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered dancing. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A freak accident while working with his Bather father left him crippled. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Ethereal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Jo was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

After coming to the age of reason, Adelard took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Hunter.
