History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Through the years after Leshanna was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Leshanna's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Leshanna and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Alvyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Marshal and was forced into it by her family; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Spice Merchant, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a Cook, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
