Description: A 5'7" eastern man, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His blue hair is heavily combed to the right. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chem grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chem grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chem. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. With bright blonde hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He became a Blacksmith soon after.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'11" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a pastel shirt with thin brown vertical stripes and green pants. She has wavy red fur. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady green eyes.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born into a rich family. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Leaf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she is greedy

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 6'2" and wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. His ears are large.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Detective business.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to end his boredom

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears professional attire. His tied-back hair is silver. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 86. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This malnourished woman wears a fancy violet dress. Her silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her druidic talents. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with violet lining and desert motifs, and carries sickles. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has amber eyes.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he's repulsed by the pc

She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Carlin grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
