Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Emerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Beatrice is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born into a rich family. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Cartwright profession.

History: Jade lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and to end her boredom

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She got into the Shipwright business at a young age. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Shipwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shipwright work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she has passion for adventuring and risk
