Simon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Geoffrey is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Geoffrey was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull black iron scale mail. His brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Himo was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in the north to a Barrister, Verin learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Myev was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

History: She got into the Apothecary business at a young age. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Apothecary for hire.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Vaina was born with her mother's beautiful face. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
