Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'4" when asserting himself. His hair is cut close to his head. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep silver.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Astar embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: He was born in the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the south were limited. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and money/treasure

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears a robe, a symbol of magic around her neck, and a falchion on her belt. Her hair is cut close to her head. She has violet eyes.
Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Meriele took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up falchion and armor she uses now. She bought a falchion and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This man is very fat, and wears a tan vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his tan boots flare out at the collars. His white hair is greasy and uncared for. His amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gimble was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gimble was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gimble fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: Her skin is bronze and flawless. She has a large violet mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her grey robe. She is an epitome of beauty. Her auburn hair is cut short. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her amber eyes.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for her, and Hugolina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. After a long history of fighting, Hugolina and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dragonborn activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dragonborn doctor. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
