History: Born to a Mayor, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Volen reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has never given up on his writing dream.
