History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Akmen was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: This malnourished woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her hair is silver, silky, and of moderate length. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing music.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vicky fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has worked as a Carpenter like his mother before him.

Motivation: To be a Merchant again.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears an entirely white suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Foxilon embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Foxilon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Foxilon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He worked as a nervous Bookbinder and found it very stressful. Recently the stress of being a Bookbinder has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: Expand his business; and to get a good night's sleep

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A freak accident while working with his Marshal father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gray.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Shanairla reached her early adolescence her Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Shanairla and her spouse have recently divorced.
