Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Abad will drive conversation. The war was a terrible time for him, and Abad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a Stableman, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When Abad reached his early adolescence his Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Kilvar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
