Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Mindartis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Gynnie was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her first spouse was a Bellfounder, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Thorin was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Olivia was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
