History: He got into the Baker business at a young age. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She now owns her own business.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Being a Map Maker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gorfel does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gorfel was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Gorfel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
