History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and to unite with his brother

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born in the south. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and many giants want him driven away

He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She takes great joy in being the best Healer in town.

History: Born in the east to a Healer, Aura learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Healer.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
