History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mehen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Kelter was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kelter's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has achieved small success as a Weaver.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Born in the east to a Baker, Theren learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Theren was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Theren decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now owns his own business.
