One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Joan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up trident and armor she uses now. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
