History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jacoba does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Jacoba was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Jacoba was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to brigands.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A gifted student she started as a Sellsword, but she got bored and became a Navigator. She struck the Navigator job and began her own company from there.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
