History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Mardred was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
