Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears a robe, a symbol of her god around her neck, and a club on her belt. Her hair is red and curly. Her eyes are likewise blue. Her teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Vani does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vani fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mortician and was forced into it by his family; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: Barbena lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His crest is short and scarlet. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
